The Railway Recruitment Board is the central wing of the Indian Railways, the largest rail network in the world, entrusted with the task of recruiting all personnel required by the railways. It works through 21 regional RRBs spread all over the country. It was established in 1998 by the Ministry of Railways. RRB publishes notifications of employment on its websites and each zonal RRB office has its own website to facilitate the process. Candidates are required to go online and apply. Suitable candidates will be required to undergo a competitive examination and interview.
